Cooking - The Hidden Gifts
We’ve been so wrapped up in building our awesome new course-“28 days To A Healthier You”, that we wanted a bit of a breather, so we decided to share our thoughts on how changing your perspective about everyday activities can really make a difference.
The first thing that came to mind is cooking! Patrick, with his 5 kids, & me with my constant travelling, we were never wowed about being in the kitchen. But, over time, we both discovered the magic of what cooking can do if you approach it as a rewarding activity instead of a dreaded chore.
Distracting & de-stressing you, connecting you with family, friends & community, saving time & money, sharpening your focus, developing patience, curiosity & flexible coping skills, & creating new confidence, & a sense of well-being. Really!
Cooking, once you break it down as we do in today’s podcast, will take on a new luster in your roster of cool things you can do to live a healthier-happier lifestyle everyday.
Tune in today & pick up all the cool tips we share about enjoying your time in the kitchen!
Taking everything in stride & enjoying every step of the way. Even for people like us who originally said-“uh-uh, I’m not really good in the kitchen”, cooking can change it all, & offer up so many gifts that make your everyday lifestyle healthier & happier!
Everyone in your world will be grateful that you cared enough to cook for them. And, even if your initial efforts could use some practice, it won’t matter when everyone sits down & says “thank you, this is awesome”!
